Meet Our Team

Pharmacist and owner Brett Kvenild is a graduate of Laramie High School and of the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. While Brett was managing pharmacies for small chains, large chains, and independents, it was always his dream to open an independent pharmacy in his hometown. With over 20 years experience in retail pharmacy, he has a proven commitment to the health and well-being of his customers in Laramie and Southeastern Wyoming.

Brett was born in Laramie and graduated from Laramie High School. After a brief stay in Seattle while his wife Cass attended graduate school Brett returned to Laramie in 2003 and has practiced pharmacy here since. Brett and Cass have a 20-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son. When not at the pharmacy, Brett loves to spend time enjoying the outdoors mountain biking, skiing and camping with his family.

Pharmacist Evan Crump is a Wyoming native who was born and raised in Casper. He attended Casper College and Laramie County Community College before earning his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wyoming. In his youth, Evan spent summers in Buffalo where he loved to visit the soda fountain at the locally owned pharmacy. The patience and kindness of the pharmacist that cared for his grandparents inspired his career choice. Evan has been practicing pharmacy since 2013 and is committed to the health and well-being of the people of Laramie and Southeastern Wyoming.

Evan has lived in Wyoming his entire life and in Laramie since 2007. He and his wife Hannah have a young daughter. In his free time, Evan likes to fly fish, snowboard, and enjoy the outdoors with his family.

Lauren is originally from Lincoln, NE. She completed a BS in Fisheries and Wildlife at the University of Nebraska, then traded cornfields for mountains when she moved to Laramie to attend the UW Pharmacy School. In her free time, you can usually find her exploring the trails with her dog. Lauren is grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community, both at Pole Mountain and Laramie.

Pharmacist Mariah Smith was born and raised in the mountains of southern Colorado. She moved to Laramie in 2016 to attend nursing school at the University of Wyoming, but soon decided to pursue pharmacy school instead. After her first year of pharmacy school, she started as an intern at Pole Mountain Pharmacy and was blessed with the opportunity to continue as a pharmacist here after graduation. Mariah enjoys working closely with the community and has always been fascinated with the math and chemistry pharmacy entails. She is committed to the health and happiness of all the patients she works with. Mariah and her husband Kody got married just before moving to Laramie and were pleased to welcome a sweet baby boy to their family this past August. They spend most of their free time in the mountains, jeeping, camping, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.

Lizbeth is originally from Chihuahua, Mexico but was raised in Rawlins, WY. She has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion and a master’s degree in Health Service Administration. She is currently pursuing a degree in Finance from the University of Wyoming. Lizbeth has always had a passion for health care and began working in pharmacy in 2019. She began working at Pole Mountain as a licensed pharmacy technician and was thrilled to adopt a role that combined her pharmacy and academic experience. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new cities, and doing anything outdoors, especially skiing, paddleboarding, hiking, and camping. 

Alyssa is dedicated to her role as a pharmacy technician in training, where she provides support in the pharmacy. Her days are filled with the rewarding task of helping others on their journey to wellness, a role she approaches with both precision and care. Her commitment to her career is paralleled only by her enthusiasm for continuing education, as she aspires to become a certified pharmacy technician. Alyssa has been happily married to her high school sweetheart where together they’ve created a cozy home enlivened by their loyal puppy and 2 mischievous cats. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys painting, playing games, and spending time with family.

David was born and raised in Denver, CO, moving to Laramie to attend the University of Wyoming. Graduating with a B.S. in Biology in 2023, David decided to pursue pharmacy at Pole Mountain Pharmacy as a clerk in 2024 and is currently working towards becoming a pharmacy technician. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors as well as carpentry and automotive projects.

Maria is one of the technicians at Pole Mountain Pharmacy and when she’s not working, she enjoys baking pastries and bonding with her two cats and pet frogs. She values contemporary art and loves to jam out to indie music, when she’s not busy taking in the refreshing Wyoming views. She is in pursuit of becoming a pharmacist someday and will begin working towards acquiring her prerequisites in the fall of 2024. She believes Pole Mountain Pharmacy is just the warm inspiring start to fuel her future aspirations.

Bonnie Jordan was born in Casper, Wyoming but grew up in Illinois. She obtained a nursing degree from LCCC and worked at Laramie Physicians for Women for 33 years. She has 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. Bonnie is married and she loves spending time with her family but mostly loves helping people.

DeAnne Rowles is a delivery driver for Pole Mountain Pharmacy. She has lived in Laramie all her life. She has 2 children, Jeff and Jamie. Jeff lives in Ohio and Jamie lives in Burns, WY. She has a grandson named Dakota who lives in Arizona and her granddaughter Dayna lives in Laramie.

Anna is originally from Laramie, WY and is now attending pharmacy school at the University of Wyoming. She is currently in her first year of pharmacy school. During her free time, she enjoys yoga, baked goods, and cats. “I love working at Pole Mountain Pharmacy because of the kind customers and the relationships we get to build with them.”

Cassidy was born and raised in Cheyenne, WY. She loves anything outdoors, especially skiing, fishing, and camping. Cassidy is currently a third-year pharmacy student and is about to begin her clinical rotations this summer with graduation in the spring of 2025! “I am very passionate about community pharmacy and my goal is to become a pharmacist at an independent pharmacy in Wyoming and get board certified in geriatrics.”

Christa was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She is currently in pharmacy school and is set to graduate in 2026 with her PharmD. She chose to go into pharmacy because she has always had an interest in healthcare and science, this field allowed her to combine her interests into one profession. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, being outdoors, and baking.

Finnegan was born in Casper and moved to Laramie in 2020. In his free time, he loves to ski, camp, bike, and participate in club sports through the University of Wyoming. He completed his undergrad and started his first year of pharmacy school in 2023 and began working at Pole Mountain Pharmacy as a licensed intern in 2024. Finnegan has always been intrigued to learn about medicine and driven to help others. Pole Mountain Pharmacy is a place where he feels he can do both.

Hannah is in her second year of pharmacy school at the University of Wyoming. She grew up in Kansas and Colorado before moving to Laramie. Hannah is very passionate about pharmacy and helping the members of our wonderful community. In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time camping and hiking in the Snowy Range Mountains with her husband Nick and her dogs, Archer and Dottie.

Jordan was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming and moved to Laramie to attend the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. Jordan plans to graduate in May of 2025 and pursue a pharmacy residency after graduation. In his free time Jordan loves to spend time with friends and family and experience the great outdoor adventures Laramie and the state of Wyoming has to offer. 

Kaci is an intern and is in her third year at the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy. Originally from Torrington, WY, Kaci grew up on a family farm with lots of animals, and her golden retriever, Leo. Kaci began working at Pole Mountain Pharmacy in April of 2023, and is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and is highly driven to make a postive impact in the Laramie community. In her free time, Kaci enjoys reading books, spending time with her friends and family, going on walks, and spending time outdoors.
